Chapter Meeting and Ride            July 19, 2008

The Food Bank run was small but successful.  The weather proved to be part of the culprit fooling some into not traveling because of the threat of rain.  As it turned out, no rain and a beautiful day for a ride.  For those that came, it was an enjoyable ride with great fellowship and good food.  The Food Bank received some much needed food and over $100 in cash donations.  Thanks to all who participated!

 Fill the Food Bank Run            June 7, 2008

Registration is from 9 - 11 AM. at the First United Methodist Church in Holland.

Cost is $10 single - $15 couple.

This includes a nice ride through 'Corn Country' that will begin at 11 AM. After the ride, we will meet at Holland School Complex for a Bar-B-Que lunch and fellowship.

We ask that everyone attending please bring non-perishable food donations to help our local Food Bank in their efforts to feed the needy. All proceeds from the run will go to benefit the Holland Food Bank.

Thanksgiving Basket Food Run  Our fun filled day begins with the collection of food for the food pantry, a ride, lunch and door prizes.  Besides being great fun, this ride supports a worthy cause of helping provide food for a Thanksgiving meal for families of soldiers who live in the Killeen/Fort Hood Texas area, many of whom have deployed loved ones. 

 What a great time we had!  There was a nice turnout, about 40 motorcycles were registered and we had a fantastic ride through the hill country.  The food prepared by the young people was very good and there was plenty for everyone.  We had a lot of fun with the games and of course all of the prizes made almost everyone happy.  It sure is nice to have such fellowship with so many from all over the state, really looking forward to next years event.
